Drake tried to get the ladies hot and bothered on social media with a thirst trap, but instead, social media is reminding him he’s not beating the plastic surgery allegations.

BBL Drizzy, oops, we mean Drake, has owned the weekend thanks to news of his forthcoming album Iceman, which his biggest fan, Mal, of the Rory and Mal podcast, will have a “bomb” on it.

The Canadian Hip-Hop star is also getting clowned for his thirst trap showcasing his abs, which many believe is the product of “ab etching,” which is described as “a liposuction procedure that claims to sculpt and enhance the appearance of your waistline and create six-pack abs,” per Healthline.

In the caption for the Instagram post, which features several other photos, the rapper wrote, “I’m wide awake for the nights that separate the type who get to it til they get it right from the type who just …type.”

Rigghhhhttt.

Well, the post seems to be backfiring spectacularly, with many folks pointing out that the rest of Drake’s figure doesn’t match the abs.

“Drake fake abs look like the precut cookie dough squares omg,” one person on X, formerly Twitter, wrote. 

Another user on X wrote, “Access to the best trainers and healthiest food in the world, but chose to go to a plastic surgeon for fake abs. What a bitch @Drake.”

Lol, damn.

Well, as long as he is fine with the alleged “ab etching,” that’s all that matters, right?

Cam’ron has officially announced that he’s writing a memoir, after signing a $750,000 book deal with major publisher Simon & Schuster.

The book will tell the story of his rise in Hip-Hop, from his early days in Harlem to becoming a major figure in the game as part of Dipset (The Diplomats), and how he later reinvented himself as a media personality.

Fans can expect the memoir to share real stories from behind the scenes, covering big moments in his life and career, both the wins and the struggles. Cam’ron will also talk about his transition into hosting, with popular shows like *It Is What It Is* and *Come and Talk 2 Me*. In a short statement, Cam said, “I’m happy to have this deal done. Hopefully, the book will be released in February of 2026, and everyone can take something from my memoir when they read it.”

There’s no official title yet, but people are already buzzing about what he might reveal in the book. Known for his sharp wit, bold style, and unfiltered opinions, Cam’ron’s memoir is expected to give fans a closer look at the man behind the music—and the mic. Drake vs. T-Pain? We did not see this one coming.

In a surprising turn of events, Drake has responded to T-Pain’s recent comments about his career choices with a revealing Instagram comment, suggesting that the Auto-Tune pioneer has “always had resentment” for him.

T-Pain, known for his heavy influence on Hip-Hop and pop through Auto-Tune innovation, recently spoke on a podcast about artists knowing when to step away from the spotlight. He referenced advice he once got from Drake, who reportedly told him he wanted to “gracefully bow out” of music one day, rather than being forced out by irrelevance.

However, T-Pain pointed out that Drake hasn’t exactly followed that advice, saying, “He’s the person that he said, you know, he didn’t want to be.” T-Pain mimicked how Drake continues to release new music, seeking hits even after some songs receive lukewarm responses. According to T-Pain, the Toronto superstar has become what he once feared, a legacy act unwilling to step aside.

Drake fired back in the comment section of a reposted clip, writing, “This guy always had resentment for me. You can hear it every time he speaks on my name.” His response hints at deeper tension between the two artists, though they’ve never been known to publicly feud before.

Interestingly, T-Pain has long been a close collaborator of Lil Wayne, Drake’s mentor and Young Money label boss. The duo, known as “T-Wayne” at one point, created major hits like “Can’t Believe It” and “Got Money,” both of which charted on Billboard and became club anthems. Their chemistry helped define the sound of the late 2000s and was instrumental in opening the door for artists like Drake to blend rap and melody seamlessly.

While it’s unclear if this exchange will escalate, it has sparked new conversations about legacy, longevity, and authenticity in Hip-Hop.

Last week, Fat Joe was hit with a $20 million lawsuit by his former hype man, Terrance “T.A.” Dixon who accused the Hip-Hop veteran of sleeping with underaged girls, and now, the case is taking all kinds of twists and turns that are quite interesting to say the least.

According to TMZ, Dixon’s lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn was pinched by NYPD after he allegedly mowed down a process server with his car on May 12. The victim served Blackburn with papers in relation to the Fat Joe case and an angered Blackburn put his car in reverse and backed into the 66-year-old process server causing a minor leg injury. Naturally, the victim reported the incident to authorities and Blackburn was booked for his transgression.

The papers served to Blackburn came from Fat Joe’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, who was suing Joe’s former hype man for defamation and extortion after Dixon attempted to sue Fat Joe for $3 million for unpaid royalties and then ultimately accusing Fat Joe of messing around with minors.

Per TMZ:

Tacopina says they wanted to get out ahead of the situation so they filed a lawsuit alleging defamation and extortion against Blackburn and Dixon. That’s when Tacopina hired the messenger to serve the complaint to Blackburn.

This led to Dixon doubling down on his stance and suing Joey Crack for $20 million accusing him of being a pedophile, but Joe isn’t backing down knowing his name and reputation is on the line. In a post on Instagram, he got personal about the situation and explained that he will “NEVER back down.”

Explaining that he’s lost both his parents and his brother to the years, Fat Joe promised to fight off “these disgusting lies” and how he felt that he’s had “individuals in my circle take my love and kindness for weakness, but how many times must we forgive them?”

Taking a shot at both Dixon and Blackburn, Joe continued on writing, “I’ve never let anyone on the streets extort me, so how would I let a crooked attorney and a coward ex-hype man extort me?? I’m from the Bronx!”

Promising to finish Blackburn in a court of law, Fat Joe ended his lengthy post saying, “You’ve messed with the wrong one this time!!”

Well, guess we’ll have to wait and see how this pans out. If it goes to trial, discovery will be a must and evidence will have to be presented to support the allegations against Fat Joe. If there is none, well, that’s the end of that. Does Dixon have the receipts to prove his allegation or will it just be his word against Fat Joe’s?

Actor Jussie Smollett will be walking down the aisle soon. The former Empire star shared the news of his engagement to actor Jabari Redd in an Instagram post last Friday (June 20). The post’s caption read, “I’ll be spending my birthday with my Fiancé… He said YES,” with a ring emoji. The post was a carousel of photos from the moment, beginning with a picture of Smollett kneeling by a restaurant and presenting a ring to Redd. The following photos captured Redd being overcome with emotion and saying yes as he and Smollett embraced, ending in a picture of the engagement ring.

Smollett turned 43 on Saturday (June 21).

The couple has been dating since at least 2023, according to reports, and have kept their relationship out of the public’s eye until the announcement. They starred together as a married couple in The Lost Holiday, a drama released in 2024, which starred Vivica A. Fox. It’s the second film Smollett directed. The news was met with joy by his friends and family, with younger sister and actress Jurnee Smollett sharing her congratulations on the Instagram post. “Screaming with tears of joy! My whole heart loves both of you @jussiesmollett. Welcome to the family @jabariredd,” she wrote paired with three heart emojis.

Smollett’s news comes one month after his decision to settle a lawsuit filed against him in Chicago related to an alleged incident in 2019 where he claimed that he was attacked as the victim of a hate crime. The details of the incident roused the suspicions of prosecutors, and he would go through a court trial and spend a brief time in jail before being released. Smollett agreed to pay $50,000 to Building Brighter Futures Center for the Arts.

“Over six years ago, after it was reported I had been jumped, City officials in Chicago set out to convince the public that I willfully set an assault against myself. This false narrative has left a stain on my character that will not soon disappear,” Smollett wrote at the time on Instagram. “The officials wanted my money and wanted my confessions for something I did not do. Today it should be clear, they have received neither.”
